Who We Are
MEC Engineering Consulting Ltd. specializes in Building Services Engineering. Our firm was incorporated in 1992 and has been providing quality engineering services in Western Canada, particularly in British Columbia, for over two decades.
With our extensive experience in the building industry, we provide timely, cost-effective, and energy-saving engineering solutions for a wide range of building projects.

What We Offer
Edmond received his Mechanical Engineering Degree from McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario, in 1979 and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hong Kong in 1981.
Besides being a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of BC (APEGBC), Edmond is a Certified Professional for the City of Surrey and City of Vancouver and a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).
Edmond has extensive engineering consulting experience in building industries within Canada, and previously, in Hong Kong and Shanghai.
Nav graduated from BCIT in 2011 with a Mechanical System Diploma and has completed the course in Sustainable Building Design to hold the Sustainable Energy Management Advanced Certificate (SEMAC).
In 2015, Nav attended Lakehead University (Thunder Bay, Ontario) and obtained a B.Eng. degree in Mechanical Engineering. Nav, and his university team, competed in ASHRAE world level competition for building system design and received 3rd position.
Nav has engineering experience of over 15 years. He has been working with MEC since 2011, first as a technologist and later as a professional engineer and currently as principal/owner for MEC Engineering Consulting Ltd. Nav has being part of more than 500 small to large scale projects. He has acquired valuable engineering knowledge and practical project design and administration experience in the building industry and holds Professional Engineer designation in BC and Alberta with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC) & The Association of professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA)
